🚀 Your Mission
HockeyStack is growing fast — with 3× revenue in the past year, a breakout product, and customers scaling just as quickly. We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to develop and own the narrative that drives awareness, engagement, and revenue across every customer touchpoint (website, ads, email). You will be working with brand, growth, and product teams helping shape how we tell our story to the market and how our customers experience our voice.
You’ll lead the strategic direction for messaging frameworks, craft high-impact copy that converts, and ensure our storytelling resonates with decision-makers in SaaS, marketing, and GTM functions. The ideal candidate combines creative excellence with data-driven execution writing words that don’t just sound good, but perform.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Lead Messaging Strategy: Define and evolve our messaging architecture for product launches, campaigns, and lifecycle journeys ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation in the market.
Write to Drive Results: Produce conversion-optimized copy for paid ads, landing pages, nurture campaigns, social and website that increase CTRs, qualified leads, and pipeline contribution.
Enable Growth Plays: Partner with demand generation and product marketing to develop high-impact creative concepts that fuel growth programs (ABM, events, product launches, etc.).
Performance Iteration: Use performance data and A/B testing insights to refine messaging, improve engagement rates, and continuously optimize tone and positioning.
Content System Ownership: Build and maintain scalable copy systems, including brand tone, positioning guides, and content workflows that help all teams communicate with clarity and consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Design, and Leadership to ensure every piece of content aligns with our strategic narrative and brand tone and voice.
Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling: Partner with the marketing leadership team to craft thought leadership narratives, including executive communications, bylines, and keynotes.
🧬 What We’re Looking For
6–8+ years of copywriting experience in B2B SaaS or a fast-paced tech environment, ideally with a mix of brand and performance exposure.
Proven success in developing high-performing copy that drives leads, conversions, and brand recognition.
Experience turning strategic messaging frameworks into actionable, measurable content across multiple channels.
Ability to interpret analytics (CTR, CVR, funnel engagement, sales cycles) and optimize copy based on data and insights.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and comfort in a highly iterative environment.
