Hearst is seeking a highly organized, creative and collaborative Senior Coordinator, Events Marketing & Special Projects to support the planning, execution and evolution of the company's corporate events portfolio. Working closely with the Senior Director and Vice President of Events Marketing & Special Projects, the Senior Coordinator will play an integral role in the development and execution of corporate events, employee engagement initiatives, executive programs and special projects. This position combines strategic thinking, creative problem-solving and meticulous execution to help deliver memorable experiences that advance business objectives and strengthen the Hearst brand.
Support the planning and execution of Hearst's corporate events portfolio, including executive programs, employee engagement initiatives, special events, leadership forums, philanthropic programs and client-facing experiences.
Assist in the development of event concepts, timelines and project plans from inception through post-event evaluation.
Coordinate event logistics including venue research, vendor management, catering, entertainment, transportation, registration and guest experience.
Serve as an on-site event lead, coordinating vendors, managing logistics and ensuring seamless execution.
Research emerging trends in events, hospitality, entertainment, culture and technology.
Contribute creative concepts and recommendations that enhance attendee engagement and elevate the Hearst event experience.
Collaborate with Creative Communications, Marketing Communications and other internal teams to develop event branding, presentations and supporting materials.
Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are effectively balanced.
Track event budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities to maximize resources and drive efficiencies.
Support event registration, attendee communications and survey administration using digital platforms.
Explore and apply AI-driven solutions to streamline event logistics, automate administrative tasks, improve attendee experience, and support data-driven decision-making.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Hearst's businesses and corporate functions.
Serve as a liaison between Hearst and external vendors, venues, agencies and service providers.
Support executive-level events with professionalism, discretion and exceptional customer service.
3–5 years of experience in corporate events, experiential marketing, hospitality, nonprofit events or agency environments.
Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York City, is $68,000 - $75,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York City. If this role is open to candidates outside of New York City, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
