Coordinates administrative and/or operational functions of an organizational unit under the supervision of a manager or director. May supervise and/or provide guidance to employees or be responsible for the management of programs, initiatives or events.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support for all dual enrollment admissions and recruiting activities including student admissions, advising, registration, and grant certification process according to program policies and procedures as they relate to dual enrollment.
Oversee the joint enrollment and special population enrollment process.
Manages the banner scheduling for fall, spring, and summer terms according to the Registrar’s guidelines and policies.
Utilizes in-person, written and web-based communication to provide information and guidance to secondary school teachers, counselors, students, students’ families and other agencies regarding the application process, financial aid, and general “college-knowledge.”
Oversee the planning and delivery of training programs for multiple secondary school students including seminars/workshops and campus visits.
Supports other units in the division with planning and training initiatives as needed.
Oversee the creation of dual enrollment collateral such as guides, handbook, electronic media and calendars annually; update all forms, letters and mailers as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three years of appropriate experience from an accredited college or university in a related field. Experience in the enrollment/student services area at a college or university or related educational setting.
