NASCAR is seeking an experienced Senior Coordinator, Curated Experiences (Special Events) to help plan and deliver race weekend experiences that connect fans to the sport in new and memorable ways.
Based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office, this role supports the planning and execution of fan-focused programming, special events, youth initiatives, concerts, camping expa eriences, and other activations across the NASCAR season.
What You’ll Do
Support the planning and execution of fan-focused programming and event experiences, including fan zones, infield activations, camping experiences, and event production.
Partner with track-based teammates to develop and execute engaging camping activation schedules, including concerts, camper mixers, pedal parties, and other interactive experiences.
Lead the planning and execution of Caution Crew programming and event weekend schedules.
Coordinate and deliver special events and activations throughout the NASCAR season.
Collaborate with track marketing teams to develop consumer-facing signage plans that promote event experiences and highlight key NASCAR initiatives.
Partner with track-based teams to execute youth-focused programming designed to attract, engage, and retain the next generation of NASCAR fans.
Identify and implement innovative technologies, creative solutions, and new engagement strategies that enhance the fan experience.
Build strong relationships and collaborate across central and regional teams, track partners, and external stakeholders to successfully deliver race weekend experiences.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in sports, events, live entertainment, or related industries.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing on-site event logistics and operational execution.
- Collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including race weekends and special events, as business needs require.
- Ability to travel up to 40%, including weekends, as business needs require.
- Valid driver’s license.
