Senior Cooling Integration Engineer

All about the role:
Senior Cooling Integration Engineer will take the technical ownership of subsystems, modules and components design and integration within the Cooling System Domain, involving evaporators, condensers, suction line heat exchangers, valves, airflow system and defrost system.
In detail, you will:
- Being the reference person for the Cooling Integration department on the product development projects and/or product Care initiatives affecting the System Functionality.
- Manage cooling integration projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Propose concepts that guarantee the best technical-economic compromise while respecting the product specifications.
- Ensuring the set of NPD (new product development) and PC (product care) project requirements are properly developed and taken by the team for what concerns performance, cost and timing.
- Ensuring harmonization and standardization of solutions implemented across different projects, keeping the solutions portfolio monitored with proper tools;
- Act as Local Module Owner on module design within projects following released guidelines, interacting with R&D, Advanced Development, Product Care, Manufacturing Engineering, System Engineering and Labs, Quality and Purchasing.
- Support application of DFx (Manufacturing, Assembly, Automation), Geometric Dimensioning &Tolerancing, DFMEA, Risk Assessment.
- Design and/or supervise 3D models and 2D drawings creation, support the prototype buildings and follow Parts Approval process and product validation.
Who you are:
- Minimum BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering
- Good Knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer will be considered a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving issues related to cooling system performance.
- Basic knowledge of metal working operations
- At least 3 years of experience in product or technology development within a structured R&D environment.
- Ideally, hands on experience in testing refrigeration or HVAC applications.
- Ability to interpret technical data and information.
- Ability to effectively present technical information and lead interaction with relevant stakeholders within and outside R&D.
- Good command of a CAD 3D to design and review part and assemblies; (Knowledge on Catia is a plus);
- Good command of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent English

You will be based in Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment.
