Role Overview:


Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven Senior Controls Integration Engineer to support development and production testing of  gas turbine engine control system. This role will partner with various cross-functional teams and leadership on a daily basis facilitating integration, development and delivery of the overall engine control system.


What You’ll Do...

  • Support test and controls teams with focus on aviation engine control systems.  
  • Lead engine system or component test programs from a controls perspective.  Set test objectives and limits, instrumentation and test data requirements, and test planning to validate the engine design
  • Lead test data reviews and coordinate with other disciplines in design, performance, controls, stress and life, additive manufacturing, materials and system analysis
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated consistent with engineering best practices
  • Support production pass of testing and identify control system improvements.
  • Complete troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of control system issues on test.
  • Ensure production control system issues are documented, communicated and resolved.


You have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5+ years of experience in gas turbine engine control systems preferably in system integration and test role
  • Strong understanding of engine control tools (Matlab, etc.)
  • Passion for additive technology and willingness to challenge current design limitations to further exploit the benefits of additive capability
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
  • Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work in fast-paced cross-functional teams
  • ·he ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Nice to have...

  • Experience with integration and testing of electronic engine control (EEC) and full authority digital engine control (FADEC) systems in addition to sensors, fuel systems, oil components, and other auxiliary systems. 
  • Understanding of engine performance and control system models as related to hardware/software simulator to predict and validate engine performance and operability.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$143,000 base salary.  Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
