Job descriptionWe are looking for a Senior Controller to join our finance team in a hands-on accounting and financial reporting role. The Senior Controller will take ownership of key accounting, closing, and reporting processes, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and build scalable accounting processes to support the company’s growth. This position is focused on accounting and financial reporting and does not include FP&A responsibilities or people management at the initial stage.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage the end-to-end accounting for internally manufactured operational assets, including tracking inventory-to-fixed-assets conversion, cost allocation, and depreciation.
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Support external audits by providing documentation and answering questions.
- Support global tax compliance and the preparation of tax returns.
- Assist in implementing new accounting standards and system upgrades or changes.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including internship.
- Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing processes and the preparation of financial statements.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Experience in global technology companies with operational complexity involving inventory management, cost allocation, and fixed assets capitalization.
