Senior Controller (NetSuite)

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote / US Shift: CST or EST

Role Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Controller with deep NetSuite expertise to oversee accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and manage reporting for US-based clients.

This role is highly hands-on and responsible for review, oversight, and financial leadership.

This is a full-time remote role based in the Philippines, aligned with US CST or EST business hours.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and close process

• Lead and review month-end and year-end close

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers

• Ensure compliance with accrual accounting and US GAAP principles

• Manage and analyze cash flow and forecasting

• Prepare and review financial statements and reporting packages

• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls

• Serve as a primary accounting lead for US clients/stakeholder

• Mentor and review work of senior and staff accountants

• Ensure integrity and accuracy of NetSuite financial data

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 6-8+ years of accounting experience

• 3+ years in a senior or leadership role (Controller, Accounting Manager, etc.)

• Strong expertise in NetSuite (required)

• Experience with QuickBooks (a plus)

• Advanced knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP

• Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
