The Manager of Contractual Sourcing will be responsible for leading Contractual Truckload Procurement for Echo's Managed Transportation business unit. The candidate will manage a team of analysts to source contracted capacity with both asset and non-asset truckload providers for MT's client base.
Duties & Responsibilities

Contributes to development of Truckload Sourcing Strategy

Prepares and executes RFPs

Develops productive relationships with carriers and brokers

Leads provider negotiation and contracting

Oversees provider onboarding and performance management

Collaborates with department leadership & clients as subject matter expert

Manage and develop a team of one

Drives continuous improvement of all related sourcing processes
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business preferred

10 years industry related experience

Minimum 5 years carrier contracting and negotiation experience

Advanced knowledge of logistics and transportation industry

Working knowledge of TMS systems, carrier connectivity options

Strong written and verbal communication

Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel

May travel up to 10%

Prior utilization of procurement software is preferred
