  • Prepare and assist with negotiating wide range of customer related contracts including maintenance services agreements, quotations, warranty assignments, rebate and credit agreements.

  • Prepare and assist with negotiating contracts related to procurement of goods and services and non-disclosure agreements.

  • Work closely with APAC legal team to ensure that the drafting and negotiating processes and outcomes are in line with agreed positions and corporate policies, in particular the RTX standard terms and conditions.

  • Work across entities in the region to understand negotiation positions from each entity’s perspective.

  • Perform risk analysis review for all suggested contractual amendments and recommend mitigating options.

  • Respond to requests and queries from internal stakeholders on status of contracts and coordinate between departments where necessary.

  • Maintain contract management system and ensure that such system is update.

  • Capture key terms of contracts to ensure that all contracts are renewed punctually and enable stakeholders apply contracts effectively.

  • Create and maintain database of contract templates and precedents.

  • Assist the APAC legal team with managing of external counsel, including liaising with law firms on engagement letters and bills.

  • Any other reasonable tasks as may be assigned by APAC Legal Director.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • University degree or paralegal certificate.

  • Minimum of 5 years of drafting, negotiations and contract management experience.

  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of sales and procurement agreements.

  • Strong team player with good communication skills, translating into ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders

  • An analytical mind able to “see” the legal complexities of the business in Asia Pacific.

  • Enthusiasm and "self-starter" qualities enabling him or her to manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency.

  • Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.

  • Ability to manage internal customer priorities and needs.

  • Strong organizational skills.
