Primary Position Tasks:

  • Collaborate with other company business units to support the compliant and successful execution of government services contracts and subcontracts.
  • Negotiate and administer service contracts in accordance with government regulations and company policies and procedures; negotiate customer changes and modifications to such contracts.
  • Negotiate and administer teaming agreements and subcontracts in accordance with government regulations and company policies and procedures, including subcontracts with small businesses.
  • Prepare correspondence to and interface directly with customer points of contact.
  • Advise and train program teams and management regarding contractual rights and obligations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Approximately eight to nine years of experience working with the federal acquisition process, including negotiation and administration of prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and other types of agreements.
  • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency acquisition regulations and terms and conditions.

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Masters or other advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)        

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, persistence and superior attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and oral communications skills

Special Requirements: The candidate will work from the Chantilly, VA corporate office with occasional travel to support Red River, customers, and partners.
