SAIC is currently seeking a Senior Contracts Analyst to manage contracts/proposals in support of its Army Navy Business Group (BG). The position requires knowledge of the government contracts field and will conduct the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
This position is 100% remote and can be worked from anywhere within the United States.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Additional (4) years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- US citizenship.
- Experience managing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing a wide range of contracts, including government contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex contractual issues while collaborating with the program and finance team to help mitigate program risks.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and adapting to evolving business landscapes.
- Understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, TINA and CAS.
- Experience with FAR, TINA and CAS.
- Cost proposal experience including completion of review of risks/mitigations, approval process coordination, creation of cost narratives, understanding of compliance, and all other responsibilities of contracts related to proposal submissions.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skill and ability to handle a fluctuating workload and multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with GWACs, GSA Schedules, Master Agreements, and various contract vehicles (i.e., Alliant II, GSA MAS, T4NG 2, etc.).
- Experience in government contracting.
