JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Contract Manager (temporary)Hamilton, ON - Hybrid

Temporary - 12 months with possibility of extension

The Senior Contract Manager (Sr. Manager of Franchise Compliance and Collision Programs) is a North American role overseeing our activity relative to renewals, transfers and the at-risk side of the business.  Their focus is on retention measures, streamlined workflow, Franchisee and working collaborative with key stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure we are compliant and contractually sound. This role works in close collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, and senior leaders in Development, Operations, Legal, Finance/Accounting, and is attuned with the company’s strategic objectives to produce results and outcomes.

What you’ll Drive:
  • Oversees and implements compliance strategies, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives; particularly relative to growth (NUG) and revenue targets

  • Focuses on optimizing FZ retention and risks associated with releases, resales and renewals

  • Provides relative and timely updates and reporting on the compliance category, ensuring key stakeholders and the executive leadership are appraised of progress and completion status against targets

  • Creates improvements to existing forecasts and forecast accuracy

  • Escalates roadblocks in a timely fashion, mitigating risk and delays in closure of compliance activity

  • Cognizance of ROFR guidelines as well as ensure stores during the renewal cycle are closed in advance of contract expiry

  • Ensures reporting and tracking tool for activity (ClickUp) continues to provide value and enhanced to best support our way of working

  • Oversees and drives process improvement initiatives to ensure the overall health and operation of the compliance category

What you’ll Bring:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Effective presentation skills and strong comfort in hosting/leading internal and FZ facing touchpoints and events

  • Proven track record, working effectively in a cross-functional team environment and with executive leadership

  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, pivot and a champion of change

  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities

  • Seasoned at writing and presenting succinct summaries for executive audiences

  • Working proficiency in CRM tools

  • Strong process orientation, experience documenting and writing SOPs to support workflow and staff efficiencies

Added Fuel if you have:
  • Proficiency and/or knowledge of task management tools (e.g. ClickUp) a plus

  • Contract Management, Contract Administration and/or a background as a Paralegal a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in business, contract law or related field a plus
