What you'll do
- Be the go-to contracts expert for our most critical programs
- Manage contracts end-to-end: solicitation, drafting, negotiation, change management, closeout
- Review and negotiate terms, spot risks, and recommend how to handle them
- Advise leadership on contract risk and commercial impact
- Lead or support negotiations with customers and partners
- Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners
- Solve complex contract issues with sound judgement
- Apply FAR/supplement knowledge where relevant, or bring strong commercial/international contracting experience
- Help improve how we do contracting, including Lean process improvements
- Travel occasionally, domestically and internationally, as needed
