Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Senior Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting the Commercial Managers across multiple contracts to carry out the assigned responsibilities for the Uungula Wind Farm (UWF) project.
The Senior Contract Administrator will liaise closely with the project team to ensure that variations, claims and other contract management activities are accurately and efficiently recorded and reported to the Project Director (UWF) and broader team including Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities
Analysing and managing contract risk on assigned Contracts,
Management of monthly progress claims including liaising with site/technical teams to verify progress of works and accuracy of contractor’s payment claims.
Management of assigned contractor variations including the preparation of variation proposals to solicit pricing from contractors, undertaking assessment of quotations in accordance with the contract terms, negotiating (within authorities granted) variations, and where authorised, prepare variation orders for approved variations.
Managing correspondence and deliverables from contractors in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and working with legal teams to ensure compliance (where necessary).
Supporting Commercial Managers / Contract Managers with general contract administration duties as assigned including preparation of formal correspondence, general notices, insurance renewals, attending contractor meetings, maintaining registers for open and outstanding items (Variations, Correspondence etc).
Review correspondences from Contractors to identify potential changes, claims and delays.
Liaise with the project team to determine status of assigned activities and follow-up on outstanding items.
Collate, review, submit and store documentation for reporting and claims.
Skills

Self-motivated and action orientated.
Ability to prioritise activities according to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Legal, Contract/Commercial Management, Engineering, Construction Management and/or Project Management.
Current Driver’s License.
White Card.
