MaintainX is looking for a creative, collaborative, and curious Senior Content Writer to join our rapidly growing marketing team, reporting to the Sr. Content Strategy Manager. In this role, you will create engaging content that drives traffic, generates content leads, and builds thought leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop various types of high-quality, engaging SEO content (short-form and long-form) that helps drive organic traffic to MaintainX.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather the necessary insights and information to create content.
  • Regularly author product-oriented content for middle and bottom-of-the-funnel prospects that help solve their day-to-day problems.
  • Create high-quality long-form gated content that drives content leads.
  • Repurpose existing content to optimize it for different audiences, channels, and platforms.
  • Ensure all published content adheres to SEO best practices, MaintainX brand guidelines, channel specifications (owned, earned, and paid), and internal quality standards (accuracy, clarity, etc…).
  • Identify fresh content opportunities by keeping up-to-date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, product knowledge, and internal and external feedback.
  • Consistently track content performance and make necessary optimizations and adjustments as needed.

About you:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role at a B2B SaaS company—ideally in-house.
  • A bachelor's degree in English, Professional Writing, PR, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • You are a seasoned storyteller with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • You have a passion for writing—all day, every day—with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your passion and expertise.
  • You have extensive experience writing persuasive long-form and short-form copy across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • You have strong knowledge of SEO best practices, tools (SEMRush, Ahref, Google Search Console, Clearscope, etc…) and strategies that drive organic traffic.
  • You are an expert in translating technical topics (like manufacturing and engineering topics!) into easy-to-understand concepts; bonus points if you have experience working in the manufacturing or engineering field.
  • You have exceptional research skills, demonstrating the capacity to conduct thorough and insightful research across various topics, industries, and sources to produce data-driven, high-quality content.
  • You are a natural team player with strong collaboration and communication skills. You are adept at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have strong project management skills with a keen ability to prioritize workloads, communicate timelines, and meet deadlines.

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) / RRSP enrollment program.
  • Take what you need PTO.
  • A Work Culture where:
    • You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.
    • We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.
