Along with client work, we build our own products in AI, SaaS, and digital platforms, and we're looking for a writer who thinks like a product person to help shape how those products are understood, adopted, and loved.
We're not looking for someone who just writes blogs. We want a writer who understands why a feature exists, who it's for, and what problem it solves, and who can turn that understanding into clear, compelling content across the product lifecycle, from launch messaging to in-app copy to help docs.
You'll work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and the marketing team, and you'll be part of product discussions from an early stage.
- Write product-focused content, including landing pages, feature pages, product descriptions, and launch announcements.
- Create UX and microcopy: onboarding flows, button labels, empty states, error messages, tooltips, and notifications.
- Build and maintain help center articles, FAQs, user guides, and knowledge base content.
- Write release notes and changelogs that explain the user value of each update, not just list what changed.
- Work with product and design teams to understand user personas, pain points, and use cases before writing.
- Develop product positioning and messaging: value propositions, feature-benefit mapping, and competitor comparisons.
- Create content for product marketing, such as email sequences, case studies, use-case pages, and social posts.
- Write SEO-optimized content that attracts the right users to our products.
- Keep tone, terminology, and brand voice consistent across all products.
- Use analytics, user feedback, and support queries to find content gaps and improve existing content.
- 2+ years of content writing experience, preferably with a SaaS, tech, or product company.
- A strong product mindset: you naturally ask "who is this for?" and "what problem does this solve?" before writing.
- The ability to explain technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Understanding of the user journey, from discovery to onboarding to adoption to retention.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and keyword research.
- Comfort working with product teams and taking feedback from developers and designers.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as productivity aids, with the judgment to keep output original and accurate.
