About the Role  

We’re seeking an experienced and talented editorial writer. You’re a subject matter expert in AI with a rare talent for weaving complex technical concepts into captivating narratives.

With extensive knowledge of AI systems, LLMs, machine learning, and industry trends, you’re looking for a bigger platform to share your passion with business leaders, product leads, AI researchers, and investors.

Cleo will own the financial vertical of the AI future, and this is your chance to explain the “how” behind that ambition.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling blog posts, scripts and editorial pieces around the topics of AI, LLMs and emerging technologies.
  • Work with engineers to create white-papers describing our AI system and evaluation methodology / research.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, marketing teams, and researchers to ensure accuracy and alignment in messaging.
  • Lead the conversation around the latest advancements in AI, NLPs and proactively contribute to the industry’s understanding of these technologies. 
  • Manage complex information and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Support wider marketing team initiatives including CRM and website copy support. 

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience writing for diverse formats—research papers, blogs, video scripts, industry articles, and leadership social posts—with a knack for simplifying complex topics for creative deliverables like infographics or animated videos.
  • Ability to adjust technical depth to suit varied audiences, from engineers to executives.
  • A genuine passion for AI and a finger on the pulse of emerging technologies.
  • Strong editorial background; bonus points if you’ve transitioned from an engineering or product management role to writing.
  • Fintech experience is a plus (we’re a fintech innovator, after all).
  • A portfolio highlighting your technical writing prowess and published work.
  • Based on the US East Coast.
