Senior Specialist, Content Strategy

We’re hiring a self-motivated and creative Senior Content Strategist to join the EcoCeres Corporate and Marketing Communications team.

Reporting to the Corporate and Marketing Communications Director, the Senior Content Strategist will possess strong communications, editing, and outstanding project management skills, and proven expertise in social media management.

This role is critical to developing content strategies that engage diverse audiences, including media, social media followers, influencers, and employees. The Senior Content Strategist will oversee global digital thought leadership and social media channels. Proven experience in digital, influencer, and social media management and analytics is essential. The successful candidate will also contribute to the planning and execution of the company’s digital strategy, delivering projects within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate will be creative and strategic with an excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and possess strong editorial skills to produce engaging content across digital platforms, including video storytelling and multimedia formats. Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools and digital analytics platforms is a plus, enabling efficient content production and enhanced audience engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with organizational goals

• Plan, create, and manage various types of content including videos, social media posts, podcasts, and infographics

• Manage content production projects from conception to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and support promotion strategies to maximize reach

• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and report on audience engagement and business impact

• Manage content calendars and schedules for timely content publication

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, explaining project requirements and progress

• Handle budgeting and resource allocation related to content production

• Incorporate user feedback and industry trends to continuously improve content

• Support video shoots, recording, and editing when required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field

• At least five (5) years of experience in Communications discipline with strong knowledge of principles in social media

• Proficient command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Proven experience in digital content creation, production, and management

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with great attention to detail

• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital content tools

• Knowledge of SEO principles and content performance analytics is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication (oral and written), collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Creative mindset with strong organizational and project management abilities

• Experience with video production and editing software is an advantage

• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, PowToon, Hootsuite, and AI tools for SEO optimization, content personalization, and social media automation is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work outside regular hours if needed
