Senior Content Strategist

LaunchSquad is known for building brands from scratch. Together we create public relations programs for innovative startup and mid-stage technology, consumer lifestyle and media companies like Waabi, Climeworks, and On Running. We are looking for a storyteller to join our team. LaunchSquad is working in a flexible, hybrid environment. We are open to remote work candidates for this opportunity.

LaunchSquad is looking for an experienced content strategist, editor and writer to help the team develop, produce and publish custom content for emerging and established brands. The ideal candidate will have 5+ combined years of experience writing, editing and strategizing for brands. The role requires the ability to toggle between writing and editing long-form articles and short blog posts, snappy social copy and other traditional content marketing formats like case studies, white papers and ebooks. Must also have experience working directly with clients to lead and develop editorial work and motivating writers and freelancers to produce high-quality content. Familiarity with B2B topics like tech, marketing, science, health, finance and more is key. Responsibilities include the ability to run multiple projects with competing deadlines, develop editorial calendars, write and edit independently. We are open to remote work candidates for this opportunity.

• 5+ years experience in content marketing and editorial leadership
• Proven track-record creating and designing editorial calendars for brands/teams to operate against
• Unassailable writing and editing chops
• Ability to grow an external network of writers, experts and contributors within niche markets including but not limited to: cyber security, AI, data
• Enthusiasm for brand journalism and an entrepreneurial view of what’s possible
• Passion for story and content as well as a flexible approach to work and team
