Senior Content Marketing Writer

Overview
Genesys is seeking an experienced Senior Content Marketing Writer to develop strategic, differentiated storytelling that supports our mission to power empathetic, AI-driven customer experiences at scale.
This senior-level individual contributor will translate complex product messaging and platform capabilities into clear, compelling copy that resonates with buyers across ICPs and industries. This role partners closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand, and Sales to deliver high-impact, campaign-ready content aligned to revenue priorities.
The Senior Content Marketing Writer sits within the Product Marketing organization at Genesys, and will report to the Director, Content Strategy. The ideal candidate brings extensive B2B SaaS writing experience, deep strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and strong editorial judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-impact, full-funnel campaign content aligned to global GTM priorities and strategic initiatives
- Translate complex product and platform capabilities into clear, compelling narratives and content
- Create content across formats and channels, including web, blog and SEO articles, audio/video, long-form assets, and enablement
- Ensure narrative consistency across ICPs, personas, industries, and regions
- Serve as a strategic writing partner to cross-functional marketing teams
- Leverage analytics, audience insights, and AI tools to continually optimize content for discoverability, formats, channels and overall efficacy
Qualifications
- 8+ years of B2B content marketing writing with experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or customer experience/AI-led technology (writing samples required)
- Proven ability to write for executive audiences and technical decision makers
- Strong understanding of ICP development, buyer journeys, and GTM motions
- Exceptional storytelling abilities across content formats, types, and channels
- Excellent communication skills with strong editorial discipline and operational rigor
- Experience integrating AI narratives and innovation storytelling into enterprise-level messaging
- Familiarity with performance-driven content optimization and AI-enabled content
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$104,500.00 - $183,700.00Benefits:
