The Role

Bullhorn's core purpose is to create an incredible customer experience, and the organization has a sharp focus on delivering very high quality products and services to its customers. The company culture is shaped by five Core Values: Ownership, Energy, Speed & Agility, Service, and Being Human. Each value, and its underlying definition, serves as a behavioral guide for employees as they interact with customers and fellow coworkers and is an embedded way of operating across our organization.

Bullhorn is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where hard work and outstanding results are rewarded and celebrated. We value those that exhibit an eagerness to learn and a strong natural desire for continuous improvement and we encourage team members to stretch themselves, acknowledge challenges and learn from them. With a strong focus on growth, we provide ample opportunities for career development and prioritize promoting from within. We believe that leaders should care deeply about the development of their employees at all levels, emphasizing emotional intelligence and accountability. Our leaders collaborate closely to ensure the success of their teams, and we work together to achieve shared goals, creating a challenging and rewarding workplace for everyone.

About the role...

Reporting to our Director of PR and Communications, the Senior Content Marketing Specialist will own and help evolve Bullhorn’s content and social storytelling strategy, shaping how our brand shows up across digital channels, targeting prospects, customers, and Bullhorn’s internal audience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, is comfortable operating with autonomy in ambiguous environments, and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to translate business goals into impactful creative work.

A typical day will include...
  • Owning Bullhorn's social media presence and driving online audience engagement

  • Planning and managing social and blog editorial calendars (research, write, edit, publish)

  • Building a bench of internal and external blog contributors, and managing, editing, and posting contributions

  • Curating, creating, and publishing digital content to tell relevant stories across marketing channels and in various formats (blog posts, social media posts, content-based graphics, customer stories and communications, eBooks, web copy, emails, newsletters, videos, etc.)

  • Analyzing and reporting regularly on content, social media, and blog performance

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and repairing externally facing content/copy

This job might be a fit for you if you have...

  • 2–3 years’ experience in social media and/or content marketing, ideally within a fast-growing technology organisation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of social media strategy and content marketing principles, with the ability to develop engaging, audience-led campaigns

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to track performance, generate insights, and continuously optimise content effectiveness

  • Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting confidently to shifting deadlines and priorities

  • Hands-on experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance content workflows, including drafting, editing, research, audience analysis, and optimisation

  • Working knowledge of SEO, HTML, CMS platforms, social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout), and basic design tools such as Canva

Bonus points for...

  • Experience in B2B tech or SaaS, especially within staffing, recruiting, or enterprise software

  • Demonstrated experience in building online audiences and communities

You’ll be working closely with teams across Central and Eastern time zones, so availability during Central business hours is strongly preferred, and you’ll need to move quickly, iterate under tight deadlines, and submit a portfolio of writing samples and social content alongside your application.
