The Role
Develop and execute Zipliens’ SEO and content strategy across website, blogs, LinkedIn, newsletters, case studies, and marketing resources. Write and edit clear content on complex lien resolution and regulated topics, collaborate with subject-matter experts, manage editorial and social calendars, optimize website content, support customer communications, and report on performance. The role also partners with marketing, sales, design, events, and operations teams to drive qualified traffic, leads, and pipeline.
Summary Generated by Built In

Zipliens is a leading lien resolution company that specializes in streamlining the lien process for personal injury law firms. We are looking for proactive, results-driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

Zipliens has grown through referrals and relationships. Now we're building a content engine that earns attention beyond them. As our Senior Content Specialist, you'll be an early member of a small, growing marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing and working side by side with product marketing, events, marketing operations, and design.

You'll drive how Zipliens shows up in search engines (SERPs and AI platforms) and in the resources law firms rely on: our SEO strategy and baseline, website content, the LinkedIn content calendar, blog posts, customer newsletters, and case studies. Lien resolution is technical (Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, medical liens, subrogation), and your job is to turn that complexity into content that paralegals, case managers, and attorneys actually find, use, and trust.

You'll thrive here if you love both the craft of a sharp draft and the discipline of keyword research and performance data, enjoy pulling insight out of subject-matter experts, solving industry pain points through creative mediums, and want to build a content program from the ground up. The role is primarily hands-on writing and execution, with growing ownership of strategy and planning as the program grows.

RequirementsResponsibilities:

Build the SEO and content strategy

  • Establish an organic search baseline (traffic, impressions, rankings, branded vs. non-branded performance, top landing pages, backlinks, and technical health) before optimizing.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and execute the keyword and topic strategy across lien resolution, Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, medical liens, subrogation, settlement administration, and personal injury firm operations, balancing high-intent commercial terms with educational and long-tail searches.
  • Build and maintain the editorial/blog calendar, aligned to our ideal customer profile, product launches, and events.
  • Partner with marketing operations to connect organic visibility to qualified traffic, leads, and pipeline rather than traffic volume alone.

Create content that earns trust

  • Write and edit blog posts, guides, checklists, templates, FAQs, and reports that help personal injury law firm teams solve real lien resolution problems.
  • Partner with lien resolution SMEs, Customer Success, and company leadership to turn operational and regulatory knowledge into accurate, practical content.
  • Use Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to develop customer case studies and spotlights that put proof behind our positioning, working with Product Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Support executive and employee thought leadership, including LinkedIn posts, bylines, and speaking abstracts.
  • Turn each strong source asset into multiple formats across channels.

Own website content and marketing collateral

  • Manage Zipliens’ public-facing resource center, partnering with subject matter experts to develop and publish content such as eBooks, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, etc.
  • Write and optimize website content, including service pages, landing pages, and metadata, in partnership with Product Marketing and Design.
  • Run on-page SEO/AEO and regular content refreshes, updating or consolidating underperforming pages.
  • Partner with marketing operations on calls to action, forms, and conversion paths so content connects to Sales.

Run channels and customer communications

  • Manage the LinkedIn content calendar, balancing core themes/pillars: thought leadership, brand awareness, campaign messaging, customer outcomes, employee advocacy, and event promotion.
  • Write and edit customer newsletter, nurture, and release-announcement copy, partnering with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and the team member building campaigns in HubSpot.
  • Create event content with the Events Manager, including pre-event promotion, session and speaker content, and post-event recaps.
  • Report on content performance regularly and recommend what to scale, update, or stop.
Qualifications:

Required

  • 5+ years in content marketing, SEO, or B2B content strategy, with a portfolio of published work.
  • Experience supporting organic traffic growth through SEO-driven content, and a solid understanding of how SEO strategy translates into rankings and conversions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or regulated topics into clear, accurate content.
  • Experience interviewing subject-matter experts and turning their input into finished content.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and repurposing while maintaining accuracy and brand voice.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and build process in a small team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, or Ahrefs) and a CMS.
  • Experience in legal, legal tech, insurance, healthcare, or other complex or regulated B2B topics; familiarity with personal injury or lien resolution is a plus.
  • Experience with HubSpot (CMS, email, and reporting).
  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for team meetings, offsites, and select events.

Benefits
  • Private Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Company HSA contributions for HDHP participants
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)
  • Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Coverage
  • Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Life, AD&D, and Supplemental Coverage Options
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Time & 10 paid Holidays)
  • Parental Leave

Pay Disclosure: The total base salary range for this role is $75,500 - $95,500 annually, with opportunity for a quarterly discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa support now or in the future.
