Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative Senior Content Marketing Manager to write meaningful content in support of sales and demand generation goals.
Our preferred candidate is a versatile marketing professional with an extensive writing and editing background in multiple formats, including blogs, videos, white papers, research reports, case studies, website copy, and podcasts, across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all content and website copy is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice with brand guidelines, and optimized for search.
- Work with teammates in brand, content, design, demand generation, product and sales to drive meaningful content creation that will result in sales and meet the needs of colleagues.
- Ideate and create content that attracts qualified prospects to our owned properties (including blog posts, white papers, E-books, reports, webinars, infographics, social media, website pages, etc.) based on their needs and interests, and grows our customer base.
- Write brand building, thought leadership material that introduces potential customers to the ins and outs of global expansion without the risk and gets them to learn about and remember Safeguard Global.
- Ability to recommend content changes (e.g., blog v white paper) based on data performance while also understanding the need to write for a specific request when it comes through.
- Partner with the digital marketing team to optimize promotion of assets through website, email, PPC, and social channels.
- Grow our subscriber base for LinkedIn and/or newsletters by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
- Implement SEO best practices.
- Be able to edit and proof all content.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience writing and editing B2B content; portfolio of relevant projects required
- 2+ years of management experience in content marketing or related role
- Ability to lead and inspire team of content creators to achieve company’s stated goals
- A passion for writing and overall content development
- Editing and proofing skills a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write to AP Style
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
