The Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to be the architect of Ziina's product voice — the person who shapes how we communicate at every touchpoint where language makes or breaks the experience.

You'll sit inside Product & Design, embedded from the moment ideas take shape, not brought in to polish copy at the end. As our first dedicated content hire, you'll set the foundation others build on: the voice, the principles, the terminology, the standards. UX writing is your primary craft, but this role demands range, moving across product copy, onboarding flows, and voice and tone guidelines, and leaning into brand and marketing writing when required.

This is about more than writing. It's about owning the full content lifecycle: from establishing terminology frameworks, to shipping copy that makes financial tasks feel effortless, to creating support responses that hold trust in high-stakes moments.

 
As a Senior Content Designer at Ziina, you will:
  • Own and write all in-product copy, including error states, empty states, onboarding flows, confirmation screens, transactional and lifecycle emails, push notifications, help center content, and support macros, extending to web copy and lifecycle communications when needed.

  • Partner closely with Product & Design teams, working in Figma to shape user flows, contribute to information architecture, and prototype content early in the design process.

  • Define and evolve Ziina’s voice and tone guidelines, including terminology frameworks, naming conventions, and content principles that scale across teams.

  • Establish and maintain a cohesive content system that ensures consistency and clarity across all product and communication surfaces.

  • Use A/B testing, usability insights, and conversion data to iterate on messaging and continuously improve content performance.

  • Support brand and marketing efforts by contributing to campaign messaging and ensuring consistency of voice across all channels.

  • Build and own AI-assisted content workflows, including prompt libraries and tooling that enable the team to scale high-quality content creation efficiently.

 
To succeed in this role, you likely:
  • Have 4+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, ideally embedded within product or design teams at a fast-scaling company.

  • Have built and implemented content systems such as voice and tone guidelines, terminology frameworks, or component libraries that extend beyond your individual contributions.

  • Bring strong UX writing skills, with experience across a range of content types, including exposure to brand or marketing writing.

  • Work confidently in design tools like Figma, contributing directly to product flows, annotations, and design critiques.

  • Demonstrate strong product thinking and an understanding of information architecture, with the ability to identify structural and content gaps in user experiences.

  • Operate with high ownership and organization, managing competing priorities while delivering quality work on time.

  • Are comfortable using data and research to inform content decisions and improve user outcomes.

  • Are based in, or open to relocating to the UAE

  • You’ve demonstrated measurable impact through content decisions, backed by experimentation or user insights.

  • You bring a strong portfolio that showcases product copy in context, along with the thinking, systems, and data behind your decisions.

 

A portfolio is required. We want to see product copy in context, not just the final words, but the thinking behind them. Show us a content system or set of guidelines you've built, and at least one example where your writing decisions were shaped by user research or data.

 

Skills Required

  • 4+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy within product/design teams
  • Built and implemented content systems (voice and tone guidelines, terminology frameworks, component libraries)
  • Strong UX writing skills across product copy and exposure to brand/marketing writing
  • Experience working in Figma and contributing to product flows and annotations
