JOB LOCATION: 1501 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy Ste 140, Dallas, TX 75234 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute]

Senior Consultant needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute] to  carry out timely response and resolution of batch automation disruptions in order to meet customer SLA’s with accurate and on-time results. Validate, synthesize, and transform customer data for planning, visibility, collaboration, and analytics using tools like SQL, SSIS, and Excel. Review and analyze the data provided by the customer along with its technical/functional intent and interdependencies. Ensure smooth operations of o9's cloud-based solution by supporting continuous integration and delivery processes consultants and ensuring alignment with best practices. Collect, monitor, and analyze systems performance data for improved performance. Create automated tasks with shell scripts (bash, PowerShell, python). Participate in the technical design and data requirements gathering and make recommendations in case of inaccurate or missing data. Apply knowledge of IBPL (Active Rules/Procedures/Action buttons) and configure UI workflows using Designer. Utilize SQL, MDX, and TSQL. Apply Statistical, Optimization, and Simulation skills through software tools and packages including R, SAS, and CPLEX. Apply understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning, and S&OP. Utilize Plugin Framework (Python and JavaScript), statistical techniques, SCS, and LP. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Requires a Master degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or Business Analytics and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation applying knowledge of IBPL (Active Rules/ Procedures/Action buttons) and configuring UI workflows using Designer; utilizing SQL, MDX, and TSQL; applying Statistical, Optimization, and Simulation skills through software tools and packages including R, SAS, and CPLEX; applying understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning, and S&OP; utilizing Plugin Framework (Python and JavaScript), statistical techniques, SCS, and LP.

Skills Required

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or Business Analytics (or foreign equivalent)
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Experience with IBPL (Active Rules/Procedures/Action buttons) and configuring UI workflows using Designer
  • Proficiency with SQL, MDX, and T-SQL
  • Experience with SSIS and Excel for data validation and transformation
  • Ability to create automated tasks with shell scripts (Bash, PowerShell) and Python
  • Experience applying statistical, optimization, and simulation skills using R, SAS, and CPLEX
  • Familiarity with Plugin Frameworks using Python and JavaScript
