Position: Senior Consultant, Supply Chain

Location: Brisbane (or available to work from Brisbane on a permanent or long-term basis)

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant who gets things done and can hit the ground running.

You’ll work closely with TMX teams, clients, and vendors to deliver real projects on time, on budget, and with impact. This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically, manage complexity, and step straight into delivery from day one. If you like owning outcomes, solving hard problems, and working with smart people, keep reading.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and manage stakeholders from multi discipline and cross organisation, providing independent technical and commercial advice.
  • Deliver accurate project forecasts and high-quality reporting
  • Manage resources effectively to balance workloads and ensure timely, accurate invoicing
  • Ensure safety compliance and manage operational risks
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering quality work and proactive communication
  • Apply industry best practices to maximise profitability and future opportunities.
  • Improve internal systems and processes to enhance TMX’s services
  • Foster a positive, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement

Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering background in electromechanical or software engineering, supported by a tertiary qualification in Engineering. Hands-on experience in system integration and automated warehouse or intralogistics solutions such as conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, and controls interfaces is highly desirable.
  • Strong project and contract management capability, including project management, contract administration, risk management, and interface management across building, software, and operational teams.
  • Broad supply chain knowledge
  • Highly organised, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder engagement and management
  • Advanced numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to prepare professional collateral that can effectively deliver a complex message to a client in a manner that can be readily absorbed
  • Well-developed and effective negotiating skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools with capability in Microsoft Project for program scheduling
