Job Duties:
· Develop, create and modify the Workday application (software) for client specific
Integrations and reports. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using
Workday’s toolset to create integrations to other third-party systems (e.g. EIB, document
transformations, Studio integrations, CCB integrations, Web services, SOAP, REST,
XML and/or XSLT).
· Analyze, design and customize Workday software in the areas of integrations, US
Payroll, Canadian payroll, Reporting and Data Conversions with the aim of optimizing
operational efficiencies, best practices and end user adoption.
· Analyze Workday to determine root cause of defects/errors, design and implement fixes
for clients.
· Handling tickets from ServiceNow which is a client ticketing system.
· Mentoring junior Intecrowd employees who are part of his team.
· Training Intecrowd employees on handling the client technical infrastructure
· Training Intecrowd employees on the intricacies of Workday Integrations.
· Handling client communications.
· Handling Vendor communications.
· Completing technical Workday certifications in Studio and CCTPP, enhancing delivery
to Intecrowd clients.
· Splitting time between Support and Implementation projects as required by the Intecrowd
Professional Services team.
· Leading a team of people in P1 implementations.
· Work on client engagements as a contributor; may lead small projects.
· Build and maintain relationships with implementation teams.
· Keep Engagement Managers and stakeholder teams apprised of overall project status.
· Mentor junior consultants and/or lead teams.
· Provide input on delivery estimation and resource planning to business leads where
required.
· Lead discovery sessions with customer subject matter experts across various technical
integration areas in delivering high-level design documentation.
· Manage competing priorities.
· Provide feedback internally on project/product where areas of improvement are
identified.
· Advise customers on adoption of Workday integrations and security best practices.
· Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production.
· Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s integration & product
skills with other consultants.
· Use field experience and product expertise to support our pre-sales organization in
talking with prospective customers.
· Assist in building on going relationships with customers to promote Intecrowds continued growth and success.
Up to 20% domestic travel to client sites may be required.
Telecommuting permitted- will have opportunity to work at various unanticipated
locations throughout the U.S.
Requirements:
The position of Senior Consultant requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in
Computer Science, Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of progressively responsible, post-
baccalaureate experience in a related occupation, 3 years of which must be with Workday
Integrator.
Specific Skills or Other Requirements:
Additionally, the applicant must have the following:
1) Experience with Data extraction.
2) Experience with XSL transformations.
3) Experience with designing, developing, cloud-based web applications with Workday
Human Capital Management and integration of Payroll, Employee Benefits, Banking,
and other modules.
4) Experience with compiling business requirements, preparing technical specifications,
developing business models, logical specifications, security compliance.
5) Experience with product demonstration, presentation, and other similar related activities.
6) Experience with Workday Studio IDE, Workday UI, SOAP UI, REST.
