Job Title: Senior Consultant
Location: Calgary

Key responsibilities- Design and configure production accounting models at unit, plant, and multi-site levels.
- Apply data reconciliation, mass balance, and volume balance methods to raw measurements and laboratory data.
- Model and track feedstocks, products, components, inventories, transfers, and other material movements across the plant.
- Integrate AVEVA Production Accounting with historians, relational databases, LIMS, and Excel/CSV data sources.
- Configure validation rules and workflows that identify missing, inconsistent, or erroneous measurements.
- Develop yield accounting balances that support operational and financial reporting.
- Configure event-based data management and reconciliation processes for timely, accurate reporting.
- Build web-based reports, analytics, and KPI views that provide a consistent source of production information.
- Configure reporting across multiple models and databases, including complex and multi-site environments.
- Enable report exports to Excel and PDF for analysis and downstream business processes.
- Investigate reconciliation exceptions, data-quality issues, and integration failures, and coordinate corrective action with relevant teams.
- Produce solution documentation, test scenarios, user guidance, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Support workshops, demonstrations, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Practical experience with production accounting, hydrocarbon accounting, material balance, yield accounting, or a closely related process-industry discipline.
- Experience configuring or supporting AVEVA Production Accounting, or comparable production accounting and reconciliation software.
- Strong understanding of measurement data, inventories, material movements, mass/volume balances, and data reconciliation principles.
- Experience integrating operational applications with historians, databases, LIMS, and file-based data sources.
- Ability to analyze data-quality issues and distinguish measurement, instrumentation, process, and configuration errors.
- Experience defining reports, KPIs, and operational or financial reporting requirements.
- Strong stakeholder communication, requirements analysis, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer-facing and communication abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
