About the role
The Senior Consultant manages multiple workstreams and provides oversight to the day-to-day activities of consultants and analysts. You'll solve business problems within customer engagements, interact with clients to understand their business needs, and work with project teams to develop solutions leveraging WWT's capabilities.
The ideal candidate can understand detailed technological, business, and analytical concepts, and communicate those concepts to clients in a way that is easy to comprehend.
What you'll do
- Develop analytical and technological solutions to achieve defined business objectives
- Consult with business users to ensure solutions meet business needs and are practical to implement
- Help maintain project plans and schedules
- Create project documentation, including technical documents such as process flows and user manuals
- Create clear, compelling charts, tables, and other visuals
- Present results and recommendations to clients and partners
- Create educational and sales materials to empower WWT account teams
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Economics, Statistics, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field (5+ years preferred)
- 3–5 years' experience, including internships, in one or more of: management consulting, engineering, scientific research, technology sales, cybersecurity, data science, or application development (preferred)
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of management
- Strength in multitasking across requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting and support for multiple user groups in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- The ability to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problems
- Thoughtful problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in groups
- The ability to ask the right questions to understand the business problem and identify the measurement or business objective
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- General project management skills
