As a Senior Consultant, you will join Burson’s Technology Practice in KSA, a dynamic team dedicated to helping clients in the technology sector navigate complex communications challenges and drive impactful media engagement. This secondment role will focus on supporting a key client’s media relations activities, including reporting on media performance, developing and translating content, coordinating with media outlets, and providing strategic counsel to ensure alignment with the client’s broader communication objectives.
What you'll do:
- Provide strategic consultancy on media activities to align with the client’s communication objectives
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on media activities, including news coverage, interviews, and campaign performance, and support the in-agency teams with account administration such as invoicing and reporting.
- Manage workload with the seconded editor to edit and translate media content between Arabic and English, including press releases, interviews, and official correspondence.
- Coordinate and arrange media interviews and liaise with event organizers to ensure all media and communication requirements are met.
- Evaluate and recommend opportunities for media exposure at conferences, exhibitions, and relevant industry events.
- Develop and implement media plans to support participation in events and campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive seamless coordination for communications-related activities.
Experience that contributes to success:
- 5-8 years’ experience working with technology-sector clients, including exposure to advanced technologies such as AI and cloud. Experience supporting public-sector and publicly listed organizations is a plus.
- Exceptional bilingual capability in English and Arabic, with Arabic proficiency at a level suitable for creating high-quality Arabic-first content.
- Strong understanding of the KSA media landscape with proven media relations expertise.
- Solid track record in managing reporting, stakeholder coordination, and account administration.
