The Role

Senior Consultant – Strategy

Location: New York | Practice Area: Business Consulting | Type: Permanent

Deliver strategic impact and help shape the future of financial services through innovation and transformation.

The Role
Capco’s Strategy practice is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the delivery of high-impact engagements across Business Strategy and Organizational Strategy. You will work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders to help define strategic direction, design operating models, and contribute to transformation initiatives powered by data and AI.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your consulting expertise, contribute to complex client challenges, and play an active role in building Capco’s Strategy capability.

What You’ll Do

  • Support delivery of strategic engagements including market entry strategies, business model design, and transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of client presentations, storyboards, and thought leadership materials
  • Use AI-enabled tools to assist with diagnostics, benchmarking, and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data, technology, risk, and AI to deliver integrated solutions
  • Build client relationships and contribute to business development and practice growth activities

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting and/or financial services in a client-facing role
  • Experience contributing to strategy or transformation projects within financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex challenges
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working with AI tools or data-driven approaches in strategy or transformation work
  • Exposure to financial services domains such as Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management
  • Experience contributing to thought leadership or client proposals
  • Familiarity with organizational design or operating model transformation
  • Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced consulting environments
