Job Title:     Senior Consultant – SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

This position is aimed at someone who has very strong business understanding on different kinds of master data like customer, vendor, material master, finance etc and  technically very strong in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) on S/4 HANA.

Candidate should be self-driven, capable of driving SAP MDG roll outs ,handling production support, planning and executing enhancements and upgrades independently

Maintaining the solution documentation for all the projects & changes
Gather knowledge of Novonesis business processes and collaborate with the relevant teams within and outside Novonesis IT
Stakeholder interactions and coaching consultants in helping them to become experts in areas where they have little experience
Strong analytical skills, good stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tasks and responsibilities    

• Configure SAP MDG ( Master Data Governance)  as per the business requirements and providing assistance in setting up the relevant interfaces with the inetgarted systems like SAP ECC, Salesforce etc.
• Actively participate in solution design workshops along with project team/requestor in scoping the business requirements 
• Support projects/complex changes by gathering end user requirements, preparing use cases, performing GAP analysis and creating/reviewing Business Blue print document
• Recommending the SAP standard solutions and avoiding custom solutions unless there is a good business case and ensuring the SAP best practices are being followed while designing the solutions. 
• Assist endusers in Data clean up, preparing the training manuals and conduct the trainings on need basis
• Defining and executing the Data migration strategies
• Assist in resolution of Service Requests/Incidents and problem management cases by identifying the root causes where a subject matter expertise is required
• Have a continuous improvement mindset of internal process and supporting tools (e.g. Azure Devops, Solution Manager , Service Now)
• Basic Qualifications    Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science/B.E./MBA or equivalent.
• Candidate must have extensive SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) experience on S/4 HANA  
• SAP certifications in SAP MDG on S/4 HANA would be an added advantage 

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate profile     Candidate must have 8 – 10 years of experience in SAP MDG ( Master Data Governance) and atleast 3-4 years of SAP MDG on S/4 HANA   
• Strong domain experience of 3-4 years in working with different kinds of master data like customer, vendor, finance and material master preferably in SAP
• Must have done 2 to 3 E2E implementation projects in SAP MDG on S/4 HANA in a multicultural and multi-location organization
• Extensive experience in SAP MDG roll outs across APAC, EMEA and Americas.
• Expert in configuring SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) on S/4 HANA for customer, vendor  material master, cost centers etc.
• Strong ability to perform data uploads from existing SAP ECC to SAP MDG using different techniques ( Idocs, Migration cockpit etc.)
• Must have an experience in configuring the MDG workflows , BRF+ (Business Rules Framework ), DRF (Data Replication Framework ), Data modelling and Process modelling 
• In depth knowledge of CVI (customer vendor integration) , key & value mapping.
• Experience in working with BC sets activation, ,  ALE Idocs ,setting up and enhancing the UI ( Webdynpro & FIORI) and FPM (Floor Plan Management), Data Transfers (Data Import Framework),SOA service and BADI’s

Challenges in position:  

• Extensive experience in global SAP MDG implementation and roll outs on S/4 HANA across APAC, EMEA and Americas.
• In-depth functional experience in terms of understanding different kinds of master data like customer, vendor ,finance  material master data etc across different SAP ECC modules and the knowledge on how they play a key role in the transaction data
• Extensive technical experience working with SAP ABAP, workflow and expertise in working with systems integration and interfaces
• Language of job advertisement (English default)    Default Language (English)
