Job location
For this role you can work anywhere in Canada, with willingness to travel to meet the team on-site from time to time in Calgary or Toronto.
About the Role
- As a Senior Consultant - SAP (FDS) / Data Modelling you will bring deep expertise in data management and reporting to assist our clients in the Insurance industry with their transformation projects. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to analyze their data management and reporting needs. Your tasks will include designing, building, and deploying functionality for data integration and data management. Additionally, you will create data models that facilitate the integration of analytical applications and support reporting needs.
- To provide the best solutions for these processes, you'll collaborate with various teams at SAP Fioneer, such as Software Development and Sales.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Possess 3+ years of professional experience in IT transformation projects.
- Initial experience in designing data management processes for the insurance sector.
- A solid understanding of the technical mapping, interfacing and modeling of FSI products.
- Basic experience in configuring one of the following SAP solutions: SAP FDS, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.
- Proficiency in data modeling with ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, SAP BTP or another database is preferred.
- Exposed to AI agents and Claude code
- Exhibit positive, customer-focused interpersonal skills and attitude.
- Willingness to travel (50%).
- Proficiency in both English (written and oral)
