Enverus is hiring a Senior Consultant who will support our customer implementation projects. Reporting to their Professional Services Manager, the Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to join as a member of a high-performing team and be integral to our product's and client's successes. You will interact with all levels of the project teams including client end users, developers, sales and management; presenting and demonstrating the product, lead project scoping sessions, configuring client scenarios, as well as defining and maintaining feature requirements, test scenarios, process flows, and working through issues to facilitate solution development. This role provides the opportunity to consultants to see many different client businesses and business use cases. From working directly with traders on the trade floor, to risk managers, or the company IT department. From utilities to producers to pure trade shops, you will get exposure to the full spectrum of the energy industry, learn their scenarios, and provide value to them through successful delivery of our software and service.
To be successful, you must seek to genuinely understand customer processes and challenges; envision and communicate what a future state will look like with Enverus applications embedded in the process; map and translate Enverus solution offerings to customer needs; and facilitate alignment across the customer, product management, value engineering, and professional services. Performance Objectives and Required Skills:

  • Working independently, own the complete project lifecycle including requirements gathering, functional design, development/configuration, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple customer implementations.
  • Work with Enverus clients to analyze and interpret business requirements, provide customized solutions within the core product while offering industry best practices.
  • Act as an operational intermediary between client-facing teams and internal development teams for issues related to data integration lifecycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Enverus' Trading & Risk products and offerings and mentors lower level consultants.
  • Use extensive industry and product knowledge to serve as the technical consultant for complex, cross-product projects, translating business requirements into solution needs.
  • Lend technical support to the sales team and special projects to support efforts towards revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of Market Data (Published, Exchange, Broker Data).
  • Knowledge of Energy and commodity markets.
  • Knowledge of ETRM systems (Allegro, Endur, Aligne, etc.) is a +.
  • Knowledge of basic risk management reporting (PnL, MtM, Risk decomposition).
  • Experience with Python, C#, JavaScript, VBA, Java, R, etc. is a +.
  • Experience with IDE like IntelliJ, PyCharm, etc is a +.
  • Working experience with RESTful and SOAP API's.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders in the delivery of features.


Competitive Candidate Profile:

  • Up to 50% domestic travel, need the ability to travel internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university.
  • 3-4 years of experience with Energy Market Data.
  • 3-4 years of Professional Services or relevant work experience.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
  • Occasionally managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
  • Proactive ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Leads by example.
