Roles and Responsibilities

Analyzing and documenting business requirements: A Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and documenting the business requirements of a company or organization. This involves understanding the company's business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and creating functional specifications.

• Collaborating with stakeholders: The Senior Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders, including business managers, executives, and IT professionals. They need to be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that the business requirements are understood and met.
• Developing solutions: A Senior Business Analyst is responsible for developing solutions to business problems. This involves working with stakeholders to identify areas where improvements can be made and developing proposals for solutions that meet the company's needs.
• Conducting feasibility studies: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for conducting feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. This involves analyzing costs, benefits, and risks associated with proposed solutions.
• Testing and implementing solutions: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for testing and implementing solutions. This involves working with IT professionals to ensure that the solutions are implemented correctly and that they meet the business requirements.
• Providing training and support: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing training and support to end-users. This involves developing training materials, providing one-on-one training, and answering questions to ensure that end-users can use the solutions effectively.
• Translating the business requirements into analytical roadmaps, identifying key challenges/data requirements and developing/ presenting solutions end-to-end. This requires specific knowledge on client data, systems, existing solutions and possible challenges.
• Identifying new opportunities and partnering internally with Client-Fractal Leads (DS, Eng and AM) to convert those into new engagements.

Project Management - 

• Plan, execute and close projects within the given timeline and budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and tasks.
• Identify and allocate project resources, including personnel and budget.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and monitor expenses.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project team members to identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Mandatory technical skills

• Technical: Knime (advanced), Python, SQL, Power BI, Excel
• Core: Data visualization / dashboarding, Data analysis, Exploratory data analysis, Program management, Stakeholder management, Presentation and Communication
• This is a hands-on role along with the responsibility of leading the engagement and team

Mandatory non-technical skills

• Communication & Client Interaction
• Database knowledge – Nielsen, iRi, Kantar, BHT
