Job Description Summary:

Supports OhioHealth hospitals and business units as an educational support liaison, including consulting, instructional design, strategic planning and project management based on educational and development needs. Insures standardization of education including but not limited to orientation, annual competency assessment, regulatory, accreditation and certification. Assists in the design of education based on educational standards, evidenced based practice and OhioHealth policy.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Serves as an education and development resource for OhioHealth hospitals and business units Acts as liaison to match needs of business unit with resources from Organizational Development Assists in strategic planning of system educational needs. Manages educational projects as assigned Facilitates centralized educational programs Ensures standardization of education including but not limited to orientation, annual competency assessment, regulatory, accreditation and certification, and management and associate development. Assists in the design of education based on educational standards, evidenced based practice and OhioHealth policy. 1. Education

a. Applies principles of educational processes which include the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of program development and management. b. Utilizes adult learning principles in the development and facilitation of educational programs'. Communicates the impact of educational outcomes to department leadership. d. Utilizes best practices and learning trends in program design. e. Reviews and evaluates educational content to ensure it is in alignment with clinical evidence-based practice. f. Works with leadership to develop educational plans that align with organizational strategies and need. g. Facilitates educational programs to promote job performance, organizational outcomes, and professional development. h. Collaborates with system educators and team members to achieve the department's educational goals. 2. Project Management

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
