Our Global Insurance Practice is our fastest growing vertical business in Europe. Our multi-region model allows us an understanding of different market maturities and developments, which enables us to take learnings and insight from one insurance market and maximize client outcomes in another.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Consultant to join our Swiss Insurance Practice. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the insurance value chain and exhibit proficiency in technology and digital solutions. This role requires a blend of entrepreneurial thinking, strategic insight, practical experience, and an ability to drive impactful change in complex environments.
YOUR CAPCO DAY:
- Client Engagement
Reply to RFP’s and collaborate with international and domestic Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Reinsurance insurance clients to understand their business challenges and opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Actively contribute to providing differentiating services to existing clients as well as new business relationships.
- Consulting and Advisory
Provide business advice across various aspects of the insurance value chain, including Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting and Distribution.
Analyze business processes and models and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction, introduce new distribution approaches such as Direct to Consumer, MGA’s or embedded insurance.
- Technology and Digital Transformation
Help our insurance clients modernize their legacy Policy Administration Systems, migrate policies, optimize their operations, automate their processes, move to the cloud, transform their enterprise, improve the customer journey and engagement, accelerate the claims process, improve underwriting, personalize policy pricing, etc.
Drive digital transformation initiatives and support our clients to get value from Big Data, (Gen) AI and Blockchain.
- Project Management
Provide support along all project phases from concept development and requirements analysis to implementation in business and technology.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Thought Leadership
Develop and share insights on industry trends and best practices.
Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base through research, white papers, and presentations.
- Collaboration
Build your internal network and work hand-in-hand with our domain experts and insurance experts across all Capco markets to bring the best possible solutions to our clients.
Help to broaden and deepen our expertise by pushing our focus topics and furthering our service offering.
YOUR CAPCO FIT:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the insurance or consulting industries with a focus on insurance with a broad understanding of the insurance value chain. The more projects you have been involved in, the better the fit. Deep knowledge in some focus topics such as, accelerated claims, Policy Administration Platforms, intelligent underwriting, policy migrations, are a particular advantage.
- Technology and Digital Knowledge:Understanding of digital and operations transformation in insurance, including familiarity with some InsurTech trends and technologies such as (Gen) AI, Cloud, Architecture, Data, System Integration is a strong advantage.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and German; French is a plus.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Project management capabilities are a plus.
