Job Description
What you’ll do
- Lead and execute the configuration, integration, and custom development of Guidewire InsuranceNow for customer implementations, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, business analysts, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using advanced knowledge of Java, JavaScript, web technologies, and cloud infrastructure.
- Analyze and interpret log files, optimize system performance, and ensure robust, scalable deployments.
- Mentor and perform peer code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.
- Demonstrate InsuranceNow functionality to stakeholders, articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Manage multiple priorities, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll bring
Required
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Minimum 5+ years of overall experience (Guidewire InsuranceNow)
- Minimum 2 years of directly related technical experience in a professional services role
- Strong background in Java, JavaScript, and web technology development.
- Proficiency with Java runtime, troubleshooting tools, and log analysis (e.g., Log4J).
- Experience with Apache Tomcat, AWS (S3, PrivateLink, Lambda), and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, AWS Aurora).
- Working knowledge of XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Apache Velocity.
- Familiarity with software development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, GitHub) and project coordination tools (SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
