The Senior Consultant - Data & Analytics Reporting is a lead contributor responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytics solutions. This role involves managing complex datasets, building scalable reporting frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions. The individual playing this role takes directions from the Supervisor/Manager of this team, partners with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, applies advanced statistical techniques, and mentors junior analysts in best practices for data visualization and reporting. The role also includes leadership responsibilities such as guiding analytics initiatives, influencing data management, upkeeping the products delivered and owned by the team.
Key Accountabilities
- Advanced Data Analysis & Strategy:
Leads the collection, processing, and analysis of complex datasets. Designs scalable data pipelines and reporting systems to support strategic decision-making. - Reporting Architecture & Visualization:
Develops and optimizes enterprise-level dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and SQL. Ensures visualizations are intuitive, impactful, and aligned with business goals. - Statistical Modeling & Predictive Analytics:
Applies advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, forecast outcomes, and support data-driven strategies. - Process Optimization & Automation:
Identifies and implements opportunities to automate data workflows and improve reporting efficiency. Establishes standards for data quality and reporting consistency. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partners with digital technology, data engineering, and business teams to align data initiatives with organizational priorities. Acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Governance & Data Quality Assurance:
Oversees data validation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies. - Leadership & Mentorship:
Leads analytics projects and initiatives, mentors junior team members, and promotes best practices in data reporting and visualization. Influences data strategy and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Builds strong relationships with business leaders to understand their data needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics or reporting roles
- Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and other BI platforms
- Strong understanding of user-centric design and data storytelling
- Fluent in English
