- Strong ownership on break closure timelines
- Issue and Respond to all the margin calls for OTC and Repo trades.
- Identify exceptions in Margin disputes and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders
- Sending emails to Client for approval on the cash entries created
- Follow up with client and Counterparty in regarding the issue related to the margin calls.
- Review new client’s ISDA and CSA agreements to ensure accuracy of daily call processing
- Month-end collateral interest process
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties
- Escalate issues that fall outside normal resolution timeframe
- Respond quickly and accurately to requests in a high volume, time sensitive trading environment
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness Follow SOP and control framework
- Understand and apply UMR regulatory requirements for OTC derivatives , Initial Margin (IM) vs Variation Margin (VM) and Segregation requirements
- Support Execution of Regulatory Margin calls
- Employees are required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the above role

- Understanding of Market Platforms like Cloud Margin , Colline , Trioptima , Acadia
- A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Financial Services environment, preferably, performing processes involving Collateral & Margin calls.
- Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Financial Services strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or a quantitative discipline. Masters’ degree would be an advantage.
- Business exposure to Equity or Credit or at least some complex derivative products like CDS, IRS, TRS & other OTC products.

Skills Required
