DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement overall Azure solutions for customers, including development of detailed solution designs, implementation plans and documentation.
- Architect, design, and deliver technical solutions that integrate and optimize connectivity to Azure AI, ML (Machine Learning), and Data services with existing client infrastructure.
- Leverage IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) to fulfill business requirements for Coretek and its customers.
- Consistently demonstrate professional Consulting and Communications skills.
- Determine detailed customer requirements. Understand the customer’s “why.”
- Facilitating the onboarding of new customer environments to Managed Services with seamless transition of duties and knowledge to appropriate team members.
- Implement net new Azure environments leveraging the Cloud Adoption Framework model and migrating on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
- Validate and test implemented solutions to confirm functionality and security.
- Document all aspects of the solution for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Transfer knowledge to internal teams and customers to ensure successful ongoing management of the solution.
- Troubleshooting, remediation, and Root Cause Analysis
- Develop implementation plans that can be executed by other team members performing the build aspects of the engagement.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Assist in review of designs with manufacturers in their technical discipline(s).
- Assist in developing SOWs (Statements of Work) or technical scope of large SOWs.
- Providing accurate service Level of Effort scoping using CORETEK’s LOE tool.
- Verify accuracy of parts list against project requirements.
- Update and improve Coretek Defined Standards and templates.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, Storage Solutions, Azure Portal, Azure Migrate, CAF, WAF, Monitoring and Logging, Backup and Recovery.
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Experience with data connectors and integrations that extend the reach of AI within Azure, manage data flow into Azure Machine Learning services, and support big data platforms and connectors. Familiarity with Enterprise AI implementations, prompt writing, and data chunking.
- Networking: Express Route, VNets, routing, load balancing, Front Door, Application Gateway, Private Link/Endpoint, Ingress Services
- Platform as a Service (PaaS): Azure SQL Database, Azure Containers and Kubernetes, Azure App Services, Cosmos DB, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
- Security & Identity: Access control, encryption, data protection, Azure AD and associated Microsoft Defender products. Includes Blueprints and Policies for Governance.
- Cost Management: Expertise in optimizing and managing Azure costs using Azure Cost Management tools.
Delivering via Automation and IaC
Well-qualified candidates will have experience deploying the listed products, solutions, and technologies via IaC. This includes leveraging provided modules, scripts and pipelines and ideally the ability to edit and refactor existing code. Applicable products and platforms include ARM, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Packer, Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
