About this opportunity:
The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for all technical aspects of the telecommunications equipment deployment at assigned job/sites for a customer unit and is the market leader and decision maker on all issues falling under the position's scope. This role is responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of the site for deployment, selecting suppliers to perform the construction on the site, negotiating the out of scope or non FPP (Fixed Price Package) items with suppliers, resolving or assisting in the resolution of missing equipment and materials necessary for the deployment, planning and scheduling the installation and construction of the job/site, including setting project schedules, forecasting, and sequencing of work, supporting or acting as escalation for construction related issues, analyzing and managing the budget of the job/site, and delegating administrative tasks to support organizations, who provide support to the Senior Construction Manager. The Senior Construction Manager delegates construction work in the customer/market territory. You will responsible for more complicated/ complex jobs/sites and provide guidance to the Field Construction Managers, as needed. The Senior Construction Manager is assisted by the Field Construction Manager, and Remote Construction Manager, as needed.
What you will do:
- Analyze and recommend the required level of effort, including hours, to the Customer Project Manager (CPM) based on the project's scope in the early stages, aiding in budget development.
- Plan and manage the execution of the contracted scope of work with both customers and suppliers, ensuring alignment with minimum throughput requirements, end requirements, and making necessary recommendations for revisions.
- Oversee resource planning and crew scheduling in compliance with the Allocation Strategy and Site Level TCR Readiness to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage site-level costs through supplier negotiations, reviewing and approving non-FPP/change requests (subject to CPM final approval), while driving cycle time performance for all assigned KPIs.
- Provide performance feedback for suppliers and Ericsson personnel such as Construction Coordinators, Field Construction Managers, and Remote Construction Managers, including input for yearly evaluations.
- Prepare and deliver reports, analyses, and presentations, including job/site progress updates, problem resolution plans, and other documentation as necessary.
- Assign and oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, financial site tracking, and scheduling of meetings and calls, coordinating with supporting organizations to ensure smooth project operations.
The skills you bring:
- Minimum of relevant work/industry experience of 6+ years. Requires advanced Wireless Construction workflow knowledge acquired by a substantial, specialized instruction and practice within the industry.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with providing design solutions and guidance of order of operations.
- Ability to determine site feasibility, as well as site design consulting as needed.
- Direct knowledge of general construction processes & procedures.
- Experience in managing and directing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc. (Civils, Ground, L&A, Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
- Knowledge of and ability to enforce Ericsson and customer construction and quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques.
- Strong understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to interface with customers, property owners, and other internal and external ancillary personnel as needed.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

• Maryland: $106,500-139,650
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (STV): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
