Senior Consolidation and Reporting Expert (m/f/d)

Your Role

We are looking for a highly skilled accounting professional, to oversee emnify Group consolidated financial statements. This is a high visibility role, where you will ensure the production of high quality, timely, compliant and technically impeccable consolidated financial reporting. The area in scope includes the parent company in Germany and subsidiaries / branches in five different jurisdictions.

Your Impact

• Get hands on the existing consolidation tool (Lucanet) and ensure it is fully and accurately configured.
• Ensure the proper data collection processes are in place for all subsidiaries, drawing from different ERP instances and external accounting service providers.
• Define and maintain consolidation rules and intercompany eliminations.
• Develop and improve over time the required full set of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash-flow), for both statutory and management reporting purposes.
• Review data quality and provide feedback to the Accounting team and external providers on issues and improvement opportunities.
• Be the key contact point for auditors on statutory financial reporting, and for local providers to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Take part in or lead special projects, to e.g. the creation of new subsidiaries, or insourcing of accounting operations.

Your Skills

• Accounting: Advanced knowledge of accounting theory. Mastery of consolidation, according to HGB and IFRS. Formal accounting qualification preferred (e.g. CPA, ACCA, WP). Capability to analyze, understand and drive the quality and reliability of financial information.
• Adaptability: Navigate priorities with a growth mindset, and the ability to embrace change and quickly modify behaviours when circumstances demand.
• Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and addressing challenges, using both analytical and creative approaches.
• Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective Communication: Confidently communicate with various audiences, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
