Purpose:
The Senior Configurator works closely with Information Technology and business partners to configure, support, consult the business for IT applications.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Application technical subject matter expert owning back-end configurations: responsible for creation, maintenance, and periodic review of all application security configuration and integration systems to support company goals, standards, and policies, and documentation.
- 5 years in application with deep domain knowledge with an understanding of module interactivity, reporting, Integrations, and application architecture.
- Consult and partner on all system updates, application releases, process modeling and road-mapping with aligned business partners.
- Application Product Owner, maintaining oversight of project backlog, prioritization, and execution using Floor and Decor management tools.
- Utilizing Agile principles, implement system technology capabilities through requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, testing, and user acceptance and adoption.
- Act as tier 3 support for application issue resolution
- Own vendor relationships, priorities, and work agreements.
- Work with audit team to create SOX User Review Process, SOX Update Review Process, and Application Change Request Process
- Experience with ticketing system and defect resolution
- Microsoft Suite, including moderate experience in Excel
Essential Job Functions:
- Your main duties will include gathering requirements, implementing, configuring, and maintaining business rules. You will work closely with our internal QA team on testing but will not be required to write scripts as they will be responsible for this. There is no coding required in this position.
- You will be involved in each step of projects and issue resolution and will have direct contact with application to help with the steps of planning, designing, building, testing, and deploying. You will have additional duties around audits, change management, issue resolution, application integrations and reporting.
Working Conditions (travel & environment)
- Limited travel required including air and car travel
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
