SAIC seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to support advanced radar system missions for the United States Space Force at Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is responsible for maintaining technical baseline integrity across complex defense systems, ensuring all hardware and software modifications are systematically evaluated, documented, authorized, and integrated into operational baselines in accordance with Department of War (DoW) configuration management standards.
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP) in accordance with DoW requirements.
- Establish and manage Functional, Allocated, and Product configuration baselines for complex defense systems.
- Facilitate Change Control Boards (CCB) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB), managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Requests for Deviation (RFD), and Notices of Revision (NOR).
- Utilize PLM/PDM and ALM tools (e.g., Aras, Cameo, DOORS) to maintain authoritative engineering data and current baseline status accessible to engineering teams.
- Facilitate Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) to verify software and hardware deliveries meet contractual specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in any field plus five (5) or more years of experience in configuration management or technical baseline control.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating CCBs and ERBs and processing associated change documentation (ECP, ECO, RFD, NOR).
- Experience establishing and managing Functional, Allocated, and Product configuration baselines.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

- Experience applying MIL-HDBK-61 in a defense program environment.
