Enhancing system availability, security, and performance through scalable and maintainable solutions.
Reducing manual interventions by developing robust automation pipelines.
Collaborating across teams to integrate OS, networking, and storage components into ASML’s embedded and distributed systems.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
5+ years of experience as a Linux engineer or developer in a high-tech or enterprise environment.
Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible).
Deep understanding of Linux internals (Red Hat, CentOS, WindRiver preferred).
Hands-on experience with storage technologies (e.g., NFS, RAID, LVM, SAN/NAS solutions).
Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, NTP, routing).
Experience with large codebases, version control (Git), and artifact management (Artifactory).
Exposure to hardware architectures (x86, PowerPC, GPU) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
Systems thinker with the ability to grasp complex designs in a broader context.
Curious, proactive, and decisive in ambiguous situations.
Pragmatic and quality-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.

What We Do
ASML is a high-tech company, headquartered in the Netherlands. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chipmakers use to produce integrated circuits, or computer chips. Over 30 years, we have grown from a small startup into a multinational company with over 60 locations across Europe, Asia and the US. Behind ASML’s innovations are engineers who think ahead. The people who work at our company include some of the most creative minds in physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, mechatronics, optics, mechanical engineering, computer science and software engineering. Because ASML spends more than €2 billion per year on R&D, our teams have the freedom, support and resources to experiment, test and push the boundaries of technology. They work in close-knit, multidisciplinary teams, listening to and learning from each other.
