Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and execution in the deployment of the Compliance Program (“Program”) for the markets (Singapore and Hong Kong).
- Further develop the market’s Program in alignment with the Global and Regional program—including risk assessment, delivery of training and communications and implementation and ongoing oversight of enhanced compliance controls including third party compliance controls.
- Work continuously to improve the market’s Program to ensure that is both relevant and effective for the local markets.
- Actively promote employee awareness of the Program.
- Develop, distribute and / or deliver effective training and communications in support of the Program, including language localizations as appropriate.
- Conduct due diligence on potential business partners, vendors, and third-parties to ensure compliance with regulations and Ingram Micros’ policies.
- Lead, conduct and manage complex compliance and ethics related investigations, inspections and audits as needed.
- Document, monitor and track the market compliance Program including investigations for the market.
- Lead all market remediation with appropriate stakeholders.
- Be a Compliance partner to the business in providing advice and guidance including on Compliance policies, ongoing business activities and risk assessment.
- Collaborate strongly with all internal stakeholders—e.g., HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Finance, Security, Marketing, Warehouse, and other business functions—to identify, mitigate and resolve Ethics and Compliance matters and manage associated risk
- Partnering with Internal Audit, periodically assess the Program or components of the Program for the market. Develop and implement with local business teams’ appropriate recommendations.
- Work on cross-functional project teams as needed to implement compliance initiatives effectively, and contribute proactively to the planning, execution, and monitoring of compliance projects or ad hoc initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Build the company’s external reputation relating to Ingram Micros’ values, in particular Integrity, maintaining appropriate visibility and involvement in the APAC’s ethics and compliance community.
- Collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance team and relevant business units in the market to ensure adherence to US trade controls and regulations.
- Work closely with the data privacy team to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations specific to the market.
- Work closely with Finance and internal stakeholders to enforce anti-money laundering (AML) controls and processes, ensuring adherence to regulations and industry standards while promoting awareness and accountability.

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement:
- University degree in law, accounting, or a related field required. LLM with a major University or equivalent strongly preferred. SCCE or similar Compliance certifications a plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of compliance, finance controllership, audit or legal experience preferably with a global IT company.
- Good understanding of and experience with US Sanctions and Export Controls (Bonus)
- Understanding of the IT distribution framework, channels, contractual specificities, compliance requirements for different parties and legal issues/regulatory requirements which govern it
- Familiarity with anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering and US Export Controls compliance is required; experience with data privacy compliance is a plus.
- Investigation skills and experience in all aspects of internal investigations and related remediations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion, with the ability to communicate and relate at all levels of the company.
- Linguistic skills allowing the candidate to deliver training/interacting with other associates in at least one other regional language besides English.
- Strong diplomatic skills, patience, and the proven ability to find creative, business-friendly solutions.
- Excellent prioritization skills, ability to navigate grey areas, make timely/efficient/professional decisions and to work with other team members.
- Able to build strong cross functional relationships.
