Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing components and verifying their certificates to meet end product specifications and safety standard requirements.
- Reviewing the products and preparing the construction review documents.
- Preparation and submission of project related documents to UL/certification agency.
- Creating the test data sheet and issuing it to the test engineer for conducting the test.
- Handling the calibration activity for lab equipment and verifying calibration certificates.
- Maintaining documents related to compliance lab.
- Reviewing the test results and submitting the same to the UL.
- Working with UL to get the certificate.
Skills and Experience:
- BE
- Minimum of 8 years of Industrial or Lab experience.
- Experience in conducting the safety tests.
- Knowledge of safety standards; like UL/CSA/IEC 62368-1, UL1741, IEEE1547, UL60730-1, UL1998, UL991, UL1973 and functional safety requirements both hardware & software.
- Awareness about IEC 17025 standard and relevant procedures.
