How do we work?
This role supports the OANDA US Prop business by ensuring adherence to AML and reputational risk standards.
In this role, you will:

Support the OANDA US Prop business, currently unregulated, primarily in respect of:
-
Review and approval of all marketing material, including but not limited to promotions and websites in terms of the use of the ‘OANDA’ name and potential impact on other ‘OANDA’ regulated entities as well as base requirements of being clear, fair and not misleading as well as upholding OANDA’s core values.

Review and assessment of potential sanction, PEP and adverse media matches.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of AML related systems and controls.

Financial Promotions, including promotions, FAQs and webpages.
-
Review and assessment of potential sanction, PEP and adverse media matches.

Accurate and comprehensive recording as well as actioning of key metrics: fraudulent applications and activities (including reporting to appropriate external authorities), sanction, PEP and adverse media screening.

Identify and implement appropriate adjustments to AML related systems and controls.

Point of contact for AML related referrals, escalations, enquiries and approvals.

Administer the online e-training AML courses.

Oversee complaint handling.

Advise and assist business units to provide for effective systems and controls in relation to operational risks.

Periodic AML and reputation risk analysis reviews and assessments.
What skillset do you need, to be successful in this role?
-
Degree educated.
-
3 – 5 years compliance and AML experience within CFD or similar sector, or legal environment.

Knowledge of prop trading, albeit no personal trading experience required.
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
-
Analytical skills.
-
Ideally, written Spanish skills or adept at utilising AI to assist with translations.
-
Attention to detail, organised and customer focused with effective time management skills.

Dynamic, problem solving and pragmatic.
